Rob has worked primarily for small and medium sized house builders, and private individuals (Wheatley Homes; Thomas Alexander Homes), across Yorkshire and the Humber on schemes of 1 - 250 units (new build and conversion). He has also worked for a land promotion business (Richard Roberts) appraising sites across the UK and delivering consents through the planning application and appeal processes.
Rob has worked for a wide range of national retailers (Decathlon; Dixons; Sainsburys), fund managers (Prudential; Legal and General) and development companies (JJ Gallaghers; Land Securities) in a consultancy role delivering new stores and extensions (new build) and changes of use, as well as wider retail park rationalisations. Rob also worked for ASDA as Town Planning Manager in a client side role delivering ASDA's expansion programme in the South West and West Midlands.
Rob has worked for a wide range of private companies (Grants of Shoreditch; MCR Property Group) and fund managers with commercial portfolios (Threadneedle; Square Meter) to deliver changes of use and wider asset improvement programmes. Rob has also worked for development companies in delivering consents for new industrial estates and stand alone industrial units.
Rob has worked on number of projects relating to Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas where the impact of development on the significance of these assets needs to be clearly assessed. Rob has secured consent for new build development in Conservation Areas and alterations to existing Listed Buildings including the display of advertisements.
Rob has worked for a bespoke Energy company (Green Power / Apatura) appraising sites for solar and battery storage facilities primarily across Scotland, with associated planning application preparation and management.
